| Post subject: | Boyscouts Event March 23rd |
Jeni Gardner is running a Boy Scout event the weekend of March 23rd that has a "Knights in Shining Armor" theme. She has asked if we would be available and willing to attend the afternoon of March 23rd during a four hour window. The event will be held at Camp Avondale in Clinton, LA. They would like to have at least two guys who could walk around and chat with the kids and do some fights for them. If you are interested and available to participate, please post here ASAP. Jeni is earmarking a significant part of their budget for the event to pay us and needs to know if we're going to be able to perform, what we'll charge, etc. |

I don't mind getting beaten down in front of the kids! But being so new I'm not sure what I could tell them. |

I had attended a Boy Scouts event a couple years ago as a LARenFest rep. The scouts were really delighted to see the armour. I think the most asked question was, "would it hurt you if I punched you?".  Although I didn't have anyone to fight with, I let Alvon beat me with a steel blade a bit to show the armour protection. |

I know my exams are somewhere around there. As long as there is no schedule conflict, I'll go. Any chance to make some money for the group. We need some new equipment and building repairs since the flood. Anybody who can help please chime in. |

I looked it up, if my information is correct 14433 LA10, clinton LA. As far as time, i dont know. And was kelly concidering going too? |
