long day.

When I get some time, I'll rework the look of the Gallery to make it blend it with our website and forum.

Currently, I'm working on the new forum, trying to get it to look and function like what we have here. (minus the ads)

Last night, I uploaded the latest version of the new forum software. This new forum will be so customizable! We will be able to add attachments to the posts and Pm's, and lots of other goodies. (calender that everyone can append, news headers with 'clickable' links...)

When the main site gets redone, I'll install a web-portal interface, so updates can be made very easily. I'll also see if I can make (or have made) a new interface where everyone can enter their victories for events. (on standards page)

I also would like to see, if a gallery can be made for movies too. It would be nice to have some of those videos on our own server. (and not rely on youtube)

So much to do, so little time.

I may need to reorganize things though. For example, if you view the 2002 Tournaments, there are like 12 pages of pics! I'm thinking of going back and dividing them up into months or events.

At least I have content up, though! There are still 3 more months of stuff that I need to upload. (I think from 2005)

Also, I have a bunch of videos to upload. Not sure if I should make a separate gallery for movies...

I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say that I really appreciate all of the hard work you're putting into this!!

Right now, there is not much as that someone else could do. (Too many hands spoil the soup!)

In the end, it will make things much easier on me. hehe Members will be able to upload their own pics and movies, instead of giving them to me, or putting them on Youtube. (the youtube thing can still be done in addition.)

Having memebrs manage their own fight days on the calendar will be very nice too. (No more excuses!) ;)

As a separate news update. The band, "Drowning Pool', has informed me (through their manager), that they would let us use their song 'Step Up', as long as they approve the video that will use the song. This is a great incentive for me to make a really cool video! If anyone has video footage from 2008 RenFest, please, please, please give it to me for using in the video.
