:o Wow! I have never noticed the new buildings on the other side of the lake! :) (I know better!) It looks like a piece of the lance is in his nose! |

hehe. Yeah this is a pic from the Royal Armories joust in Leeds that happened not too long ago. I just thought it was a super great action pic. The lance actually hit dead center on the guys shield and rode it up into his helm, popping it off. From what I understand, most jousting leagues only allow shots to the chest and torso. Still makes me want to move to Europe and joust professionally, though >:) The modern cityscape in the background does make for an interesting and almost ironic picture though. |
