Post May 20th Training
***We will be holding non-combat event tournaments on training days, starting in May***

This month we're going to be training Meyer's Dussak.

For those who don't know, the dussak is a trainer for single-handed sword techniques. The foundation laid out in the dussak section of Meyer's fight book serves as the basis for his rapier section, and translates equally well to any one-handed sword art.

Also, I'm interested in going out to the site early to try to pour some footings for the knee walls on the stairs. Anyone interested in helping out?

Is this on the 20th? I may be able to help out.
I have a few martial arts books to donate to the library too.

Out of curiousity, will this be your open training day or will that be on the 13th or even possibly skipped this month?

Truth be told, every training day is an "open" training day that anyone can attend. So you're more than welcome to show up :)

Thanks to everyone who made it out today for training, especially Josh, Nick, and Robert. I hope to see you all out at the pit again soon.
