So, August training. Here are some options I was thinking of:

1.) More HEMA training, specifically geared toward the Belgian rules, in preparation for Dixie Krieg - explaining and sparring under the rule set, working on covering after delivering strikes to avoid the afterblow.

2.) Boxing training (just because I've been wanting to box!)

3.) Wrestling at the sword (Ringen am Schwert) - Disarms, sword grabs/traps, kicking, etc.

4.) Sword and Shield training - Bolognese Rotella style.

Any opinions?

I'll be in dress rehersal for Fiddler on the Roof.

Sounds like a plan. It will be nice to get some practice with the Belgian rules, and I'm particularly interested in bolstering my meager hand to hand skills. See you Sunday.

Looks like I won't be there. I really need to let my fingers heal anyway.
