While I was in Houston, I picked up a couple of Rawlings synthetic longswords for the group. They're ~49" long and weigh ~2.5 lbs.

Sweet, I like sparring with them, couple of bruises but binding and winding is alright. |

I'll warn you now that what you can do with a fencing mask and hockey gloves on is quite different from what you can do in a helm and gear. Your agility and range of motion are affected more than you'd think. But I'll bring my gloves and mask and we can go round with the Rawlings. |

I remember the first time you had me train in a helmet, vision does suck, that's why training daily helps, I am down for some extra sparring after the tournament. If spear is second event I will be well rested after the tournament seeing other than the one day in January I have no training in spear |
