 Dixie Krieg 2010, Tallahassee, FLDixie Krieg 2010 will be happening October 16-17 in Tallahassee, Florida. Jean and I went last year and had a great time, so I'm ploanning to attend this year as well. The event is FREE! (They are asking for a $20 donation, but even then it's still a steal). For more information and to PREREGISTER, go to http://freifechter.com/events/fall2010/. I think they are limiting to 30 participants.
Here's the proposed curriculum: Quote: Oct. 2010 proposed schedule Potential classes: * Meyer Longsword Devices — Mike * Longsword Sparring Clinics — Jake Norwood * Marozzo’s Unarmed Dagger Technique — Jon Scott * Dagger Sparring Clinic — Jay * Meyer Polearms (Staff/Halberd) — Kevin * Sword and Buckler — Keith Myers Saturday 12.30-2.30 Meyer Longsword Devices — Mike 2.30-4.30 Comprehensive Sparring Clinic: Polearms — Kevin Conprehensive Sparring Clinic: Sword and Buckler — Keith Myers 4.30-6.30 Comprehensive Sparring Clinic: Longsword — Jake 6.30+ Open Sparring 8.30 Event Dinner Sunday 9-11 Prize Play 11-1 Sparring with steel clinic — Jake Marozzo’s unarmed dagger techniques — Jon Scott 1-2 lunch 2-4 Comprehensive sparring clinic: Marozzo’s dagger for dueling — Jay 4+ Open Sparring< The schedule is subject to change based on the availability of instructors and attendance.
