Would be nice if we could do stuff like this every once in a while. Or perhaps some live swordplay stuff.

Yep..well, kinda. I mean using sword blunts.

Also, instead of true sparring, it would be more of a demonstration of techniques. (Each person would be aware of what is going to happen next)

The crowd would like it, cuz of the real swords and the noises heard. Also, since it is true techniques, it would be a little learning session for the crowd. Lastly, it could be done with less fighters (as little as 2) and not as exhaustive as a tournament.

I remember doing those sort of demonstrations when i took martial arts, there was a lot of rehearsal involved, lot of practice, but the end result was great! I agree it would be a great spectacle. And, i think, a good way for Odro to make extra money in the off season for building projects (and maybe even group outings ;) ...)

Not to mention, since it would be real techniques, it would help us with our own combat as well.
