If anyone has good quality videos (minimum 640x480) of Ordo fight action from 2009 RenFest, let me know.

The footage I have is from only 1 angle. Cuts would look very good from a second angle.

Sir Dallas, there was a tall dark-haired girl at your party, that mentioned she had video footage. Sorry, don't know her name though.

Cyn has footage too, but is it only pics?

Squire Chris,

is there someway you can get ahold of Nicole for the media? Ask her to burn the stuff on DVD format and bring it next chance you get.

Also, burn a DVD of what you have and get it to me too.

thanks.

I didn't look at it yet. Gary also gave me 2 more DVD's with footage from the final day. (or some other day)

I'll likely start digging into them this weekend, when I have some more time.

Squire Chris,
the videos are not is .avi format. They look like they are in a movie format or something. The Mac would not play it regardless. I'll look more into this weekend.

The 2 discs from Gary are fine. They are of the very last day of RenFest.

I'll be making at least 2 videos, but possibly more. I have so much action footage it is unbelievable!

The first vid, will be super-action stuff for "The Hardest Hits of 2008 RenFest".

The second vid will be more of a 'what is Ordo about' kind of thing. Picture Sir Dallas explaining to the crowd our rules...after he has explained something, a few short pertinant videos are displayed. (Example: Sir Dallas explains that it is legal to throw weapons and/or use them as the fighter wishes. The next scenes are action scenes of weapons being thrown, pommel strikes to the face, half-swording...etc.)

If I have time and motivation after this, I'll make a 3rd one. 'The Fighters of 2008 RenFest'. Kind of an intro to each fighter and their best action scenes.

If I didn't have a full-time job, I could really get some cool Ordo stuff done! 8-)

I recorded the video from my Mini-DV camcorder straight to a DVD recorder so I assumed it would be a regulare DVD format, i didn't realize you needed .avi specifically. All i know about MAC is that they are usually white.

Let me see if i can find some free software that will enable me to capture it in .AVI

As it stands what i have on my computer puts in in .wmv format which is windows media video. I know you don't want that.

If you can't find anything, you could just hook a couple cameras together and record the footage to a mini DV camera or something ...then finally capture it all to a computer using firewire. A bit of a drawn out solution though..lol

*edit*

Alternatively, you could give me WMVs and I can convert them to AVI using adobe premiere pro...then I'll give em to Sir Vic
