Sir Eric,

snap some pics of any transitional armour sets. Perhaps 1350-1400.

Considering that a churberg breastplate stops just short of the ribs, I wanna see what options were there for protection below this.

I know that a chainmail skirt was common, but I have also seen instances where the churberg was either covered in suede (seam down the middle) or replaced with a coat of plates covered in suede. Either way, suede-covered plates hang down to protect the upper legs. There are 6 plates and they completely encircle the wearer. Flaps of chainmail are beneath that.

Any pics as to the variety of transitional armour is what I'm looking for. Since this was a period of change from chainmail to plate, I'm sure I have freedom to do a few different things.
