i don't see reference to a page of the arador armour library, that might benifit other pages, so heres a link, I've dug around and found it to be a great source of information, and how to on just about anything armor. http://www.arador.com/construction/basicarmouring.html anyway, have fun. |

I just found this thing, so I havent had a chance to read it. But it actually looks like it could be quite informative. Seeing as how I'm still quite the armoring noob, I'm gonna read it. |

well thats understood I think ;). I think reading this will help me learn some of the jargon though. Like, I just went searching online for a helmet, and the vendor I chose said he made his stuff out of "mild steel". I was wondering if "mild" meant crappy or something, but if I had read this earlier I woulda known what mild steel is. |

I just finished browsing the whole thing. It's full of good information. I will probably refer back to it for making some of my armor pieces like my gorget, pauldrons, and gauntlets. |

hehe mild steel is a fine metal to use, now once you get better , then maybe you might want to use stainless steel. but as far as my self, i'm working with mild steel for the most part. it gets prety solid once you got some shape to it. |
