Staff Makeover
So I had the day off and decided to give my Ordo staff a face lift.
First, I ground the skin off the rattan and sponged on some brown oil paint to make it look more like a piece of hardwood than an obvious stick of rattan. Then, I sewed up a leather covering for the striking surface. I'm hoping the leather will be way more durable than duct tape. Plus it looks infinitely better.
I still have to make a cover for the "pommel" end, but the staff as a whole looks waaay better.
Just thought you guys might like to see it.

Re: Staff Makeover
Hmmm very nice indeed, I like the idea of using leather in making weapons, my katana tip benifits greatly from it. I think it will work well with your staff.
