Looks like they would both need some type of added protection.
Either way, it's no biggie.

Also If you want to make your own, I have plenty of 14AWG steel, but I may be out of the way for you guys, I'm in Washington Parish. I recently made my own helmet because my head is too big and I hate the Bucket, it's kind of a barbute style as well. The longer vision slit is definitely a plus
