Greetings all. A couple of people mentioned buying a helmet last tourney. Somehow word has spread that bluegoose is no more. Here's the link:
http://bluegoose.zoovy.com/c=AouZpMVk3lc6zVnJH8zRkoyGe/product/EBAYHM1010
This is the cheapest place I've found for the simple and adaptable barbute helmet. Please post a link if you find it cheaper.

Last time I ordered a helmet from them, It never came in. They would not return my emails. They did bill my card though.

That's about the expected price. At least you could see it personally, before you bought it.
Can't wait to see it in action!

If you use a chin strap, you would not need to pad the front of the helmet much (if at all). However, I think most people have padding all around their helmet, and do not use a chin strap.
Perhaps get some stiff paper or light cardboard, and make some different visors. Experiment using more than one piece of paper for your visor piece.
Good luck and keep us posted!
