sword tip renforcment
i was experimenting with a way to reinforce the tip of a sword. and was wondering before I glue it all together I figured I'd post some images to show how I did it. I used a 2 inch wide strip of cowhide.

Hmm that looks pretty nifty. I will probly try that on my future weapons.
Make sure you let Sir Eric evaluate it before you use it against others in combat. It looks pretty good to me, but he has the final say on it.

I don't see any safety issues with it.
I'm not exactly sure how much it's going to do in the way of keeping the tip from tearing off, but I'm interested to see if it's effective. You've got the green light from me. I say pad it up and try it out.
